This is the first version of bsplay for Mac-OSX. Since there are probably
not that many Mac users with a Commodore Amiga background, bsplay stands
for "Brian's Soundmon Player" (no it's not "bullsh!t player"). I wrote
the editor and the replayer around 1987 (first version) in a time where
software audio synthesis was something new. The replayer was primarily
optimized for speed and memory consumption so it could be used on a
standard Amiga 500 with a 7.14Mhz 68000 CPU and 512Kb of memory. There-
fore soundmon songs tend to be quite small but they are only 4 channels
(the Amiga only had 4 channels).

You can down load modules from my webpage: http://www.brianpostma.com
or get the dreamcast bsplay diskimage, it contains a large number of
modules that can be used by the mac version as well.

Check out some of my mac game ports as well (see my homepage) for how
the replayer can be used in your own productions.

A couple of demo tunes are included (directory modules) that are made by
Sebastiaan Lentfert (http://www.lentfert.com) back in the 80's.

Note: The GL version expects the modules to be in a modules directory
which should be in the same directory as the application. It won't prompt
for files. Use cursor up/cursor down to navigate through the list. Cursor
left/right will move 8 list entries at a time. Enter selects and starts a
song, escape (or F12) will quit.
